Location:
Ad Astra House, 6 Hurricane Way, North Weald, Essex. CM16 6AA.

Access:
By road

North Weald is on the B181 Epping to Ongar road, north east of Epping and south east of Junction 7 of the M11 - Ad Astra House is on Hurricane Way (the former entrance to the airfield), accessed via North Weald Village, and not the present Airfield entrance.

By Public transport
Bus from Epping, Harlow and Chipping Ongar.
Rail via London Underground Central Line station at Epping or Harlow Railway station.

Open:
We are open on every Sunday from early April till the end of October - 12noon till 5pm, last entry 4pm.  Depending on staff availability the museum tries to be open on a Saturday during the same period. Organized group visits are welcome at other times, by prior arrangement. Access to the airfield is restricted, although group tours can be arranged subject to sufficient notice and the airfield manager’s agreement.

Admission:
£1.50, £1 for Concessions

The museum is a charitable trust dependent on income from membership, entry and donations.

Annual membership of the North Weald Airfield Association is £10 - giving one year free access to the museum, use of extensive book / video library and aviation history research files and a regular newsletter. Membership is world wide.  You can join by post.  Copy and complete the application Form
